Fill up your Summer Reading Passport

The Summer Reading Passport challenge is in full swing at various libraries throughout Sheffield.

It runs until the 30th of September, so there's still plenty of time to get reading and be in with a chance of winning a suitcase of books!

Participants read three books, and the theme of this year's challenge is travel, so each book should relate to a different country.

If you need some suggestions for books set in different countries to get you started (or keep you going!), please see below:

The books are:
  • Devil in a blue dress - Walter Mosley (Los Angeles)
  • Razor girl - Carl Hiaasen (Florida)
  • In Patagonia - Bruce Chatwin (Patagonia)
  • Shadow of the wind - Carlos Ruiz Zafón (Spain)
  • The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency - Alexander McCall Smith (Botswana)
  • Paying back Jack - Christopher Moore (Bangkok)
  • Occupied city - David Peace (Tokyo)
  • Angel - Colleen McCullough (Sydney)
  • Everland - Rebecca Hunt (Antarctica)

Happy travelling!
